The measurement engineering capabilities of devices for mobile applications largely match those of laboratory devices. But since its working environment is incomparably tougher, the demands on devices are significantly different. In the simplest case, a DC power supply unit, an extended temperature range, condensation proofing and insensitivity to mechanical and climatic stresses are required. And the ability to capture physical quantities simultaneously with Field bus data is of ever-increasing importance.
