The CAN-Bus is rapidly spreading through the automotive industry and in the world of automation. Thus, it is becoming vitally necessary for modern data acquisition systems to be able to capture and process field bus data in combination with analog data. All imc universal measurement systems can be equipped with a CAN-Bus interface. If only CAN measurement data are to be captured, then the CAN-data collector busDAQ is an affordable option. Of interest for the Avionic field is the implementation of the ARINC-Bus. Solutions for other popular field busses such as the Interbus-S and Profibus are in preparation.
