imc COM
The bright future of System Integration
The imc COM Programming Interface is a tool for system integration which can be integrated into all modern programming languages, such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Visual Basic for Applications and others.
COM (Component Object Model) is a software interface developed by Microsoft and has been implemented in such well-known systems as DLE, ActiveX, DirectX.
COM was developed with the goal of extending the functionality of programming languages, without targeting any particular language. Thus, COM-based components provide their functionality to a number of COM-compatible programming languages.
The imc philosophy
- All measurement configuration parameters are set using the operating and viewing software. The results are directly displayed.
- The measurement configuration can be saved as a Setup.
- The Setup is loaded into the programming language.
Necessary programming:
Since the measurement system settings have been completed, all that is left to do is the design and modification of the measurement procedure can be designed and modified using the COM class libraries by means of the COM-interface
These allow the entire measurement system properties to be accessed and provide data handling.
